Outstanding Alum: Early Career Professional
Abdulaziz S. AlOthman is a management consultant within the Strategy and Transformation team at Ernst & Young—one of the Big Four accounting firms in the United States and globally. AlOthman advises large organizations and government entities in the Middle East on executing corporate strategies, designing target operating models, and formulating customer experience strategies.
AlOthman is an active member of his community. He participates in multiple organizations, such as Emzingo and Global Shapers Community, which are dedicated to connecting young professionals and creating positive change in the world. In addition, he was elected as a board member of the American Business Council in Kuwait, an NGO under the umbrella of the American Chambers of Commerce dedicated to promoting U.S. businesses worldwide, as he further fostered the relationships between American and Kuwaiti bilateral investments and businesses.
At UHart, AlOthman majored in civil engineering, graduating magna cum laude from the College of Engineering, Technology, and Architecture in 2014, followed by an MBA in Strategy and Entrepreneurship from the Instituto de Empresa Business School.
As a student, AlOthman was a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and helped to organize national ASCE events on UHart’s campus. He was also an active member of the Arab Student Association. AlOthman continues his involvement to this day with the University of Hartford by encouraging high school students in Kuwait to consider UHart for their higher education. Apart from his professional life, AlOthman is passionate about travel and discovering new places, along with his wife and soulmate, Noura.
