Partnership Council
To ensure that UHart continue to innovative and create new partnership relations, we have created the Partnership Council. The Partnership Council, which includes representatives from each of UHart’s schools, colleges, and administrative departments, focuses on building a culture that encourages cross-college communication and collaboration. The Council provides resources and support to members of the wider campus community to ensure the success of the mutually beneficial relationships that enhance our students’ academic, intellectual, and entrepreneurial skills.
Council members have worked together to create and launch a partnership toolkit, a “just-in-time” on-line resource for members of our campus community to use when preparing to work with partners.
Council has also supported various cross-college collaborations with partners, including the CREC Magnet School, Five Points Center for the Visual Arts and the Real Industry Diversity Equity, and Inclusion Mentorship Program. Each year, the Partnership Council sponsors panel presentations to share partner information with the greater University community. We have featured Travelers, Stanley Black and Decker, Hartford Steam Boiler, Nassau Re, Shriners Children’s Hospital and others in yearly Partnership Council Workshop presentations.
