Nick Colavita ’20, a senior majoring in management and minoring in economics and finance at the Barney School of Business, worked as an Operations Intern in the Early Career Leadership Development Program with the Hartford in the summer of 2019. He attended professional development workshops weekly, had exposure to higher-level employees and earned real-life skills through a 10-week span working on audits, write-offs, website redesigns, and other projects.
“Operations paved the way on how to communicate effectively as well with having the professional skills to thrive in today's business world. This was an amazing first-hand experience because you learn with other people around you.” says Nick. With summer 2019 completed, he has received a rotational full-time offer from The Hartford in the Early Career Leadership Development Program. Nick says, “I accepted the offer and will begin in late July 2020 after I graduate in May.”
