June is Pride Month, dedicated to the recognition of the identities and contributions of people who are LGBTQIA+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, transgender, Queer Intersex, Asexual and “+”—representing members of the community whose identities are more expansive). During Pride Month, we celebrate LGBTQIA+ activism, advocacy, self-affirmation, visibility, culture, and the ongoing movement toward equality.
Our UHart culture values diversity and champions an environment of inclusion and belonging. To our students, faculty, staff, and alumni who identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community, we honor and embrace your perspectives, contributions, and achievements.
