Biomedical engineering major and CETA student-athlete achieves success on and off the volleyball court.
Jenna Bridges ’20, a biomedical engineering major from Exeter, R.I. and member of the Hartford Hawks Women’s Volleyball team has had success on and off the volleyball court this year. She was recently named the America East player of the week for the 9th time this season. Other accolades from this semester alone included America East Player of the Year, selected to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) East All-Region Team, and AVCA All-American Honors. Additional career achievements include:

Bridges chose to attend UHart since it was close to home and had the major she was pursuing, biomedical engineering. She has learned over her college career what it means to be a CETA athlete and know how to optimize her time and manage it wisely. Her career goals include continuing onto graduate school for her master’s degree then eventually work on research or for a company focusing on biosensors or cell biomechanics.
