The Office of Academic Technology, Teaching, and Learning assists faculty in using technology and new teaching methods in their established curriculum. Whatever the application or technology, our seminars emphasize teaching first and are designed to engage faculty from all disciplines and all technological skill levels.

The staff provides faculty with the knowledge and resources needed to use instructional technology effectively and offer a wide range of seminars including: e-learning and Blackboard, Ensemble and Anthem (streaming media and personal capture solution), scanning, PowerPoint, copyright, digital video, and emerging technologies for teaching. Staff also provides instruction and support for classroom applications such as interactive whiteboards, smart classrooms, and personal response systems (clickers).

Faculty Lab

Located in room L203A of Harrison Libraries, the lab includes for use and/or borrow:

  • Windows PC and Macintosh computers
  • Scanners (for text, images, and slides)
  • Video editing stations
  • Mobile technologies such as e-readers and tablets
  • Portable projector
  • Video camera
