Hawks Landed

Once our hawks fly, they officially become alumni. See where some of our recent graduates have landed.

Jessica Camarillo ‘24

After graduation, Jessica began her career as a systems engineer at Pratt & Whitney, where she interned last summer. Jessica says UHart’s small class size and excellent faculty kept her inspired and always eager to accomplish more.

Alba Marcelin ’23

While she was a student, Alba worked as a manufacturing engineering intern at Burke Aerospace (formally known as Turbine Technologies). She also interned at CCAT, and GE Aviation as an aviation system Intern in Dayton, OH during the summer of 2022. After graduation, she jumped right into GE Aviation’s Engineering Edison Development Program in Jacksonville, FL.
Sebastian Arreola '23

After graduation, Arreola began his new role as an electrical systems engineer at General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT. This new career opportunity allows him to take his skills and knowledge from UHart, and apply it to developing cutting-edge technology in the marine industry.

Mikhail Thomas

Civil Engineering, 2016

Thomas is currently a bridge design engineer for the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation (ConnDOT) while pursuing his MEng and MBA at UHart. He credits the University for giving him many opportunities to grow personally and professionally.

I saw UHart as a partner in my future, investing in my potential while helping alleviate barriers such as finances. I am very grateful for having access to professors and other administrative leaders who were essential for academic understanding and professional guidance.
