Congratulations to the approximately 1,250 degree recipients who were honored during our ceremonies on Sunday, May 12.
Diplomas
Students who graduate in May 2024 can expect to receive their diplomas in the mail in the fall. If you need to update your diploma mailing address, please reach out to the Office of the Registrar at registrar@hartford.edu. Information about diploma authentication can be found online. For specific questions regarding diplomas, please contact the Office of the Registrar at registrar@hartford.edu.
Photographs
Professional Commencement photographs were taken by GradImages. Proofs will be sent to graduates within 10 days of the ceremony via email and may also be looked up online once they become available. If you need assistance finding or ordering your photos, please reach out to GradImages Customer Service. Please note that GradImages is an external partner of the University of Hartford.
Stage Clips
If you purchased a personalized video clip through Stage Clips while ordering your regalia, it will be emailed to you (at the address you provide while ordering) within one week. 2024 Commencement Speakers
Commencement addresses by two distinguished alumni will be among the highlights of the University of Hartford’s 2024 Commencement ceremonies on Sunday, May 12, at downtown Hartford’s XL Center.
Jay Malave M’98, chief financial officer of Lockheed Martin, one of the nation’s leading global security and aerospace companies, will address graduates at the morning ceremony for doctoral and master’s degree recipients. Later that day, UHart’s undergraduate Class of 2024 will hear from Georgia State Senator Sonya Halpern M’90, a persevering advocate for equity and opportunity.

Information for Graduates
Our annual May Commencement exercises are scheduled for Sunday, May 12, at the XL Center in downtown Hartford. It will celebrate the academic achievements of all who were awarded degrees during the 2023–24 academic year (Sept. 2023, Jan. 2024, May 2024). The Graduate Ceremony (doctoral and master's degrees) will be held at 9 a.m. with the Undergraduate Ceremony (bachelor's and associate degrees) taking place at 2 p.m.
Before you can walk across the stage, you need to make sure you've completed all the necessary steps for graduation.
