UHart Radio, WWUH, has just completed their two week over-the-air Spring Fund Drive. The goal of $50,000 was surpassed by close to $1,000 with well over 400 listeners contributing to the listener-supported station.
"The incredible success of the drive means that WWUH will be able to start the FY in the black and we'll be able to, among other things, continue our 4+ decade tradition of broadcasting live the Paul Brown Monday Night Jazz Concerts from Hartford's Bushnell Park" said John Ramsey, station manager. "The amount of support we receive from our listeners never ceases to amaze me" Ramsey continued.
WWUH, operates as a Community Service of the University of Hartford and covers all of central Conn. at 91.3 on the FM dial and covers the world via streaming at wwuh.org.
