It is important to verify that your payroll address is accurate on your pay stub and as displayed in Self-Service. This is the address that will be used to mail future tax information, including the annual W2 statement. If you move, please remember to update your address via Self-Service.
Supervisors of student workers—please also remind your student workers to verify that their payroll address is accurate on their pay stub as displayed in Self-Service. The payroll address should be the student’s permanent address, not a campus address and students should be reminded to keep their payroll address current.
Any changes to a payroll address should be made by logging onto Self-Service. This page will allow faculty, staff, and students to update their payroll addresses and no longer need to contact HRD to update this.
Below are the directions to enter the new page and make any updates:
- Login to self-service
- Click on the “personal information tab”
- Click on View/Update Personal Information
- Scroll down to the Address section:
- To update the address, click the pencil under the Payroll address and enter the updated information.
- To add a new address, click “add new” in the upper right side of the section. Select Payroll as the Address type from the pull down menu and enter the new information.
- Click UPDATE to finalize your changes
As a reminder, current and past W2 forms can be accessed via the Self Service center. If you choose to receive your W2 electronically, you will not be mailed a paper copy of the form
