The Hartt Saxophone Studio delivered a standout performance at the recent North American Saxophone Alliance (NASA) Region 8 Conference, hosted by Penn State University. The event brought together saxophone students, teachers, performers, and enthusiasts from across the region for a weekend of performances, masterclasses, and lectures.

Among The Hartt School performers were the award-winning Hierax Quartet (Scott Brown, Ben Levesque, Ashtyn Wolph, Evan Blitzer), The Hartt Saxophone Ensemble (Aly Attenello, Evan Blitzer, Rob Brown, Scott Brown, Ronitt Dhalliwal, Michael Dubler, Hannah Hickman, Dakota Jones, Ben Levesque, Ashtyn Wolph), the Laurel Trio (Rob Brown, Ben Levesque, Markus Kaitila). Hannah Hickman and Scott Brown presented solo performances as well, and Ashtyn Wolph was chosen to perform as a soloist in a masterclass. The Hartt Saxophone Ensemble's program featured original music by Hartt affiliated composers Gilda Lyons, Shuying Li, Ashtyn Wolph, and arrangements by Rob Brown and Derek Granger.
