UHart is excited to welcome back the 29 graduate and undergraduate students who traveled to Italy with two nursing faculty members and one physical therapy faculty member. As part of an interprofessional education experience, the students represented six ENHP programs, including nursing, physical therapy, prosthetics and orthotics, exercise science, respiratory therapy, and radiologic technology.
The group was completely immersed in the Italian culture and had an enriching experience enjoying food and sightseeing, visiting clinics, and getting to see how their professional skills are used in a different country.
