The next monthly Staff Council General Meeting is Wednesday, March 12, from 1 to 2 p.m. in Hillyer 130. Are you a staff member? We encourage you to bring a friend, bring your ideas, and don't forget your spirit wear!
This month will focus on reviewing who we are as a staff council and who we would like to become. We will cover announcements from our Community Reps, Committees, eBoard report, as well as plans to gather as a community at a few key events. Agenda items will include:
- 📅 Date/Time changes coming in the new fiscal year (this will require an amendment to current By Laws)
- 📢 Staff Nominations, Call for nominations for the Executive Board:
- Chair, Vice Chair, Communications Director, Treasurer, Secretary
- Nominating Committee members needed - email staff@hartford.edu if you're interested
- 🎉 Community Events for Staff Council to attend together
- 🎤 Open Discussion
To help us with being efficient with time, please submit any questions or concerns you may wish to address to staff@hartford.edu. There is a hybrid option, but we would like to encourage people to attend in-person, if at all possible.
Reminders and Tips:
- We are meeting on Teams and in person.
- You must register in order to attend both in person and virtually (even if it's just before the meeting starts). Once registered, a confirmation with a calendar invite will be e-mailed to you.
- If you cannot attend the meeting, it will be recorded and made available.
