Last Thursday, Feb. 20, a group of students and faculty from the College of Engineering, Technology, and Architecture attended the Annual Engineers’ Night Awards Banquet for the The Hartford Section of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers at the Hartford Marriott Downtown.
Dean Alnajjar, Associate Dean Akin Tatoglu, Program Director Ted Diehl, Program Department Chair Paul Slaboch, and Professor Cy Yavuzturk were all in attendance.
CETA faculty say the evening featured inspiring recognitions, great conversations, and a lively performance by The Green Jazz Band, bringing together executives, researchers, faculty, early career engineers, and students from across the region. The section can not wait to celebrate its 50th Anniversary next year.
