Join the International Office in celebrating the Lunar New Year with a special holiday menu at the Commons.
Lunar New Year is celebrated by many countries, including China, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines. Marking the first new moon of the lunar calendar, this holiday features family reunions, feasting, and cultural traditions. Each country has unique customs, such as giving red envelopes filled with money, spectacular fireworks displays, traditional dances, and special holiday foods.
The International Office would like to welcome all who are interested in celebrating together to join us in the PDR on Wednesday, Jan. 29, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., where we will have games, special treats, and giveaways.
