Culture Shock: Call for Talent, Fashion and Art Showcase

Are you ready to showcase your creativity and cultural pride? Culture Shock, happening on March 6, at 6 p.m., is your chance to be part of a vibrant celebration of diversity, creativity, and community!

We’re looking for students that are artists, performers, and fashion enthusiasts to share their talents and cultural expressions. This is your opportunity to shine and represent your culture, identity, and unique perspective in front of the UHart community.

We’re accepting submissions for:

Art Display

Submit culturally significant art pieces to be displayed during the event.

Optional: Share the story behind your work in a “show-and-tell” segment!

Talent Performances

Show off your skills! Sing, dance, act, or perform in any way that represents culture and creativity.

Individual or group performances are welcome.

Fashion Show

Strut your style on the runway!

Submit culturally inspired fashion pieces or outfits that represent you and your heritage.

After the showcase, the runway will open for audience participation!

Deadline: Feb. 21, 2025

Include:

Your name, group name (if applicable), and contact information.

A brief description of your submission (e.g., art piece, performance, or fashion).

Any specific technical needs (e.g., music, equipment, or space).

This is your moment to share what culture means to you and inspire others with your creativity. Whether you’re an artist, performer, fashionista, or all of the above, we want YOU to help make Culture Shock unforgettable!
