Associate Dean Carmen Cotei recently returned from the Actuarial Club of Hartford and Springfield's annual meeting, which was held on Nov. 19, 2024, at the CT Convention Center. This year, Seraphim Krafchek, one of Barney’s actuarial science minor students, had the opportunity to attend and network with 300+ actuaries from the Hartford/Springfield region.
Seraphim has an impressive combination of programs she is studying. She is a 3+1 student, majoring in math for her undergraduate studies and then MBA for graduate, and a double minor in actuarial science and data science.
