photo of Bill MichaudThe University has learned of the recent passing of Bill Michaud, a respected member of the UHart community for 40 years.

Bill was hired in 1979 and worked on campus until his retirement in 2019. He began as a groundskeeper but transitioned to mail distribution for the second half of his time on campus.

Known for the dedication he brought to his job as well as for the passion he brought to his homelife and hobbies, Bill will be missed by many, both at home and on campus. Those hobbies included cooking, baking, gardening, day-tripping, and keeping family stories in the forefront.

Bill lost his lengthy battle with cancer, but throughout his life won the love and admiration of his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many co-workers.
