January 2025 Degree Application Deadline

Students who expect to graduate on Jan. 25, 2025, must submit an application no later than Friday, Oct. 18, 2024. Applications are available through Self-Service by clicking on Student Main Menu, Student Academic Records, and Graduation Application. Once the Supplemental Questionnaire is completed, your application is submitted. Your evaluator will review it and if approved, it will be sent to the Registrar’s office. 

Be sure to check UNotes regularly for updates on ordering your cap and gown and FAQ’s regarding participation in the May 2025 commencement ceremony. 

As a reminder, there is a $208 application fee for graduate students and part-time undergraduate students. 

Please be sure to check your account through Self-Service to make sure there is no hold on your account, as this will prevent diploma mailing in the spring.

Financial Aid holds, such as Direct Loan Exit (Stafford Loan) or Perkins Restriction are common holds. Complete the required Direct Loan Exit process to remove the hold at https://studentaid.gov. Complete the requited Perkins Restriction process to remove the hold at loans@hartford.edu. For other Financial Aid hold questions, please email finaid@hartforfd.edu

Account Balance holds, such as cashier restriction and graduation cashier restriction, are common holds. Please email Bursar@hartford.edu to set up a payment arrangement to resolve your balance.
