Annual Campus Security Authority (CSA) Training

The Clery Act requires the University of Hartford to collect crime reports from a variety of individuals, including those deemed to be Campus Security Authorities, or CSAs for short.

All UHart CSAs will receive an email from your friendly Clery Compliance Officer in the next week or so with the link to take the annual CSA 13-minute online training module.  This training is incorporated into our campus’ Single Sign On double authentication setup.  This forthcoming training email is a legitimate email.

CSAs include security and law enforcement officers; deans; coaches; residence hall staff; advisors to student clubs and organizations; and other campus officials who have "significant responsibility for student and campus activities," such as, but not limited to, student housing, student discipline, and campus judicial proceedings.

This is annual training and CSAs are to complete the training each year. Here at UHart we typically launch this training in the fall semester. There is no ‘re-fresher’ version of training.

If you have any questions regarding CSA training, please contact Dr. David Stender, Clery Compliance Officer at: stender@hartford.edu.
