CTEI Peer Review of Teaching

We are excited to invite you to participate in the Peer Review of Teaching program offered by the Center for Teaching Excellence and Innovation. This is a voluntary and confidential opportunity for you to receive constructive feedback on your teaching from trained peer reviewers who have expertise in various disciplines and pedagogies.

The Peer Review of Teaching Program process consists of three steps: a pre-observation meeting, an observation of a lesson, and a post-observation meeting. You will also receive a written summary from your peer reviewer, which you can use for your own professional development or for other purposes as you wish. The Peer Review of Teaching Program is based on best practices and faculty input and aims to enhance teaching excellence on campus.

For more information on the process and available peer reviewers, please click the CTEI Peer Review link. At this link, you will find the form link to sign up and information about our peer reviewers. You can find the details for each peer reviewer by clicking the plus (+) sign next to their name. Please note that peer reviewers do not need to be in your field or have content knowledge of your course. They can offer valuable insights from different perspectives and experiences.

We hope you will take advantage of this program and join us in fostering a culture of teaching excellence at the University of Hartford. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at ctei@hartford.edu.
