The Hartt School's Frederic Chiu is returning to the Illinois State Music Teachers Association's State Conference by popular demand as their Conference Artist/Clinician.
He will be presenting one of his Classical Smackdown piano recital programs, Heart and Soul, asking audience members to vote for their favorite composer in a showdown between Debussy and Prokofiev. He will also be giving a lecture/workshop on stage fright.
The conference takes place Nov. 1 and Nov. 2 at Milliken University in Decatur, Ill.
