Career Exploration Day on Oct. 30

The Allan Center for Career and Professional Development is excited to announce that Career Exploration Day is back for its second year! Undergraduate and graduate students are invited to participate on Wednesday, Oct. 30.

Registration Deadline: Monday, Oct. 21

The University has partnered with 17 local organizations that will give up to 350 students an exclusive look at their facilities and day-to-day operations. Students will gain a greater understanding of these organizations by shadowing professionals and networking with current employees. Additionally, students will hear from HR directly on what the organization is looking for when hiring future talent. There is no better way to understand what it’s like to work at an organization than by seeing it first-hand. This is an invaluable experience that you don't want to miss!

 Participating organizations include:

  • Berkley Financial/ Berkley Crime
  • Boys and Girls Clubs of Hartford
  • CT Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection (DESPP)
  • CT Department of Transportation
  • CVS Health
  • Deloitte

  • Hartford Steam Boiler

Registration for this event is required by Monday, Oct. 21. Register here.

Spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis!
