The Office of Inclusive Excellence and Belonging and the Hispanic Heritage Month Planning Committee proudly announce the inaugural 2024 Inclusive Excellence Hispanic Heritage Month Award.
Through this award, we seek to recognize and celebrate an exemplary Hispanic student, faculty, staff, and external community leaders who:
- Works hard to improve, and exemplify the principles of diversity and equity to advance a culture of inclusion and belonging.
- Made outstanding contributions toward improving the community’s quality of life.
- Pays forward their work in various ways that demonstrate a commitment to fostering growth and diversity among the Hispanic cultural identity through teaching, research, and service to students and the Hispanic community.
Awardees will be honored during the upcoming Hispanic Heritage Month panel discussion, Experiencing Belonging…Share Your Story on Sept. 25, from 12:45 p.m. – 2 p.m. This program will be held in Shaw Center, located in Hillyer College.
