A little over a month into his tenure, University of Hartford President Lawrence P. Ward was recently profiled in the Hartford Courant and Hartford Business Journal.

The Hartford Business Journal article focused on the strides UHart has made facing the challenges of the post-pandemic era, and featured a sidebar article on how colleges throughout the region are facing the same challenges.
“I’m going to make full use of my skills and talents with my previous experiences learning on college campuses,” Ward told the Courant. “I want to use my ability to inspire others and success requires me being on top of my game … I’m most excited about making a difference and I consider this an opportunity of a lifetime.”
