Tuition Exchange Deadline

The University of Hartford is a member of The Tuition Exchange, Inc. (TE), a national organization that administers tuition scholarship opportunities for dependent children of employees from member colleges and universities. Faculty and staff with a minimum of 5 years of full-time service can apply to have an eligible dependent considered for tuition exchange for the 2024-25 academic year. A listing of participating institutions is available at tuitionexchange.org

Faculty/Staff applying for a newly eligible dependent for Tuition Exchange must have their student create an account and apply by Oct. 1, 2024, using the EZ Application Process" (Please take time to read the instructions carefully prior to completing the application as Tuition Exchange has updated their system and application process.).

NOTE: Paper Applications for NEW TE requests will NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Faculty/Staff that have an eligible dependent currently using Tuition Exchange and are seeking renewal of their certification, need to simply email Shane Ciccarelli, Dean of Admission, no later than Oct. 1, 2024, with their intention and request to be considered for recertification.

IMPORTANT: The TE EZ-Application should only be completed by a new student applying for a Tuition Exchange Scholarship for the first time, unless the student is transferring to a new school. **Continuing TE Scholars (those already receiving a Tuition Exchange Scholarship) should not re-apply.**

It is important to note that the awarding or renewal of a TE scholarship is not guaranteed; scholarships are contingent upon the number available and each college or university has its own renewal and awarding criteria.

Applications and notifications received after Oct. 1, 2024, will not receive priority consideration and may not be eligible.
