Lisa Read, public services librarian for the Allen Library at the Harrison Libraries, will be leaving the University of Hartford. Her last day will be July 11. Lisa will be joining Princeton Library as their new music librarian.
Lisa joined the University in November of 2016. In addition to her work in our libraries, she has been active at the University serving as vice chair then chair of the Staff Council. Recently, Lisa served on the Presidential Search Committee.
Tracey Rudnic, head of the Allen Library, notes "While we are sad to see Lisa go, and will miss all that she brings to her role, we are excited about her new opportunities!"
Faculty, staff, and friends are invited to a farewell reception for Lisa on Tuesday, July 2, from 2 p.m to 3:30 p.m., in the lower level of the Harrison Libraries, adjacent to Allen Library.
