Ivana Milanovic, professor of mechanical engineering, CETA, visited the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Coburg University in Germany. The visit was co-sponsored by the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts.
Professor Philipp Epple hosted Milanovic at the Turbomachinery Laboratory where they conducted several low-speed experiments. In addition, Milanovic, Epple, and Manuel Fritsche gave two simulation workshops, one of which: Basics of Compressible Flows was done in partnership with Ansys, Inc. and provided students with an opportunity to get the industry certification.
