HRD to Offer Two-Part Training on Hiring and ePAFS

Human Resource Development will be offering a two-part series on hiring and ePAFs.

Employment/Hiring: June 11, from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.

An overview of how to hire student and temporary employees, methods of creating jobs in the system, and how to get folks paid.  The session will include descriptions of the different employee classifications, position numbers, an explanation of the approval cycle, and will touch on the payroll cycles as well.

ePAF Training for Originators: June 18, from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.

The electronic Personnel Action Form (ePAF) is an online process completed when a new employee is hired, a change is needed for an existing employee, or a termination of a position/employee is needed.  The originator inputs all the required information before sending it over to the approvers until it is ultimately applied electronically to the appropriate BANNER screen(s).  Come learn what information is needed and how to process an ePAF from start to finish, how to check status on existing ePAFs, and finally there will be time to answer specific questions you have regarding your specific situations.  Bring your own examples, questions, and a zest to learn.  Please note that Employment/Hiring is a pre-requisite for this class.

All training sessions will take place in CC114. Space is limited, and seating is first come/first served.
