Hillyer College Recognizes Student Academic Award Winners

Hillyer College faculty, staff, and students recently gathered in the Shaw Center to congratulate the following second-year students on their academic achievements:

Jacob Tsekhansky – Kenneth L. Meinke Award and Completion of Hillyer Honors Experience
Lidea Herrik – Marilyn S. Smith Humanities Award 
Henry Worrell – Mathematics, Social Science, Academic Strategies, and Tutor Awards
Shea Flaherty  Patricia Moylan Award
Arob Mongkuier  Completion of Hillyer Honors Experience
Arohi Verma – Completion of Hillyer Honors Experience
Joshua Weiner – Wasserman Award
Tyler Carty – Charles and Susan Seeman Scholarship

In addition, Laurel Clarke ’24 (A&S Biology) received the Rising Star Award, for having the highest GPA of all UHart graduating seniors who started their academic journey in Hillyer College. 

Professor of English Robert Dryden and Associate Professor of English Mary Fister also recognized students who had their writing published in the Hillyer College literary journal Shell Keeper.

Henry Worrell, Laurel Clarke, She Flaherty, and Jacob Tsekhansky were recognized for their academic achievements.
