Career to the Classroom Day 2024

The Allan Center for Career and Professional Development collaborated with the Office of Alumni Engagement to host its first-ever ‘Career to the Classroom Day’ on March 28. Twenty-seven UHart alumni and industry leaders returned to campus and presented to 30 different class sections, across six colleges, about their professional journey. Alumni shared their experiences of their careers and provided expertise on topics ranging from engineering to accounting, to art, to marketing, to healthcare management, to physical therapy, to leadership, and more. Additionally, students had the chance to engage with the visiting professionals during class to better build their personal professional networks. In addition, the Career Studio hosted an ongoing reception during the day in which returning alumni and corporate sponsors had the opportunity to network with each other.

This program was a huge success, and we thank all the alumni and professional volunteers who joined us in enhancing the UHart student experience!
