The Aspiring Educators Diversity Scholarship Program (AEDSP) was established by the Connecticut Legislature and is administered by the Connecticut Department for Education. Students are encouraged to apply if they meet the criteria below:
- Diverse students who graduated from a Connecticut public high school in a priority school district
- Enrolled in an educator preparation program at any four-year institution of higher education in Connecticut
- Complete application by Nov. 1, 2023
The maximum a student may receive is $10,000 per year (freshman-senior year) for a maximum of $40,000.
