Hartt Dance to Perform in NYC

The Hartt School Dance Division has been invited to perform at the Joyce Theater in New York City during the Martha Graham Dance Company's NY season.

Sixteen dancers will travel to New York this week to perform the final section of Graham's work "Primitive Mysteries" which they presented in its entirety here at the Millard Auditorium in November. The piece was staged by faculty member Miki Orihara, who worked directly with the legendary Martha Graham during her 27 years as a principal dancer with the Graham company. The Joyce Theater is "the international leader in dance presentation."
