The Mitten Tree Returns to Mortensen Library

Mortensen Library is enjoying the return of the Mitten Tree.

 Each year, the University Libraries and the Office of Student Engagement and Inclusion gather dozens of warm winter items for donation to people in need in Greater Hartford area. Donate a hat or a scarf or a pair of mittens by hanging them on our mitten tree from Nov. 29-Dec.13.

The generosity of the University Community helps keep hands and heads warm when it’s cold out. So come and see our Mitten Tree, decked out in all its glory. And bring your own donation to help spread warmth in this cold season!
