Civil engineering students Lily Orelup ’20, Nicole Kibbe ’20, Hailey Kukowski ’20 and Applied Assistant Professor Todd Brown attended the New England Water Environment Association (NEWEA) Annual Conference and Trade Show in Boston on Jan. 27 and 28.

The conference was a great opportunity to attend technical sessions on the latest trends in the clean water industry, network with industry professionals from throughout the region, and view the latest in equipment developments for monitoring and treating water.  The seniors also participated in a student poster competition with posters that summarized their water quality engineering laboratory projects from the fall semester.  Brown received many compliments from colleagues about the students’ work.

Please join the College of Engineering, Technology, and Architecture (CETA) in congratulating these students for their hard work, and for recognizing Brown as a faculty member always willing to bring his students to conferences related to the civil engineering industry as well as local companies throughout the academic year.
