Nursing Students Inducted into International Honor Society

The Department of Nursing in the College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions (ENHP) held an induction ceremony earlier this month for the Sigma Theta Tau Iota Upsilon nursing honor society. More than 30 students in the RN to BSN and Master of Science in Nursing programs were inducted. 

The Sigma Theta Tau Iota Upsilon chapter includes students from the University of Hartford, Central Connecticut State University, and the University of Saint Joseph. UHart Nursing Department Chair Joyce Thielen served as the keynote speaker at the event. The organization’s mission is to advance world health and celebrate nursing excellence in scholarship, leadership, and service.
