UHart Students Among Those Presenting REU Summer Projects on Campus
Seven undergraduate college students, including four from UHart, participated in summer research projects on campus June 12 – July 24 as part of the Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU). The theme of the six-week experience was “Modeling Feedback Control in Human Movement” and it brought together students from various universities and backgrounds.
The experience provided students with one week of classroom training followed by five weeks of research supervised by University of Hartford faculty. It was funded by the National Science Foundation and coordinated by UHart faculty Assistant Professor Adam Goodworth (ENHP), Associate Professor Sandra Saavedra (ENHP), and Associate Professor Patricia Mellodge (CETA).
