Jon-Paul (JP) Venoit is the president and chief operating officer of Masonicare, the largest not-for-profit senior care company in Connecticut.

Masonicare is also where he began his health care career—at age 16, in the dining services department. Hard work, skill, and dedication all contributed to his senior leadership journey, which has been highlighted by his success directing the organization through industry fluctuations and the recent pandemic. As a testament to his leadership skills, Masonicare recently had one of its most productive years.

Venoit has a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Insurance from the University of Hartford, and a Master of Science in Healthcare Management from Post University. He received his retirement housing professional license from the University of North Texas, and has a fellowship certificate from LeadingAge, a community of nonprofit aging services providers, for which he served as vice chair of the Connecticut chapter.

In addition to his exemplary work at Masonicare, Venoit is the vice chair of the Wallingford Planning and Zoning Commission and serves as commissioner of the Wallingford Ethics Committee. Past roles included chairing the Connecticut Assisted Living Association Board, and service on UHart’s Board of Visitors.

A Wallingford, Connecticut, native, Venoit still lives there with his wife and two sons.
