“Career to Classroom Day” Returns to UHart March 26

Whether you’re pursuing a career in statistics or sports management, accounting or art – networking is the key to success. And more than a thousand students will get to do just that during the University of Hartford’s second annual “Career to the Classroom Day” on Wednesday, March 26.

46 alumni and industry leaders are set to converge on campus, sharing their career wisdom and experience with around 50 class sections from all seven of UHart’s colleges. They’ll provide expertise on topics as varied as insurance, physical therapy, video production, psychology, robotics, and much more.

The event is hosted by the Allan Center for Career and Professional Development and the Office of Development and Alumni Affairs. It will also feature an all-day reception in the Career Studio where returning alumni and corporate partners will have the chance to network with each other.

The day’s participants hail from local companies such as Stanley Black & Decker, Hartford Steam Boiler, Travelers, Masonicare, CVS Health, and ESPN – many of which have longstanding partnerships with the University. It’s all part of UHart’s commitment to connect students with the internship and relationship-building opportunities to ensure they’re ready for career success.
