Amanda Trothier has led her career with a mission driven focus working primarily in the nonprofit sector in program coordination, volunteer management, communication, and fundraising. She is a people-centric individual who is resourceful and passionate about supporting the success of all individuals, which is why her role as Senior Development Officer is a perfect fit. Amanda works closely with faculty and staff as the liaison between her department and the College of Education, Nursing and Health Professions where she has met many like-minded individuals.
Outside of work, Amanda and her husband are renovating their house, she dog walks/sits, runs, cycles, does yoga and more. When not reading required graduate books she loves to read true crime, historical fiction, entrepreneurial and business books among many other genres.
Amanda is a first-generation college graduate from Eastern Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Science and anticipates completing her dual MS in Organizational Psychology/MBA by 2027.
