Alex Slap began her career in arts administration as Director of Admissions and International Student Advisor for the Longy School of Music. After relocating to Connecticut, Alex managed her own private flute studio, joined the West Harford Symphony, and taught music technology at Canton High and Middle Schools. Alex has a long history with the University of Hartford, having first stepped foot on campus as a “Summer Place” camper and returning years later as a Hartt Community Division parent.
