Student Move-In

Student move-in is taking place as scheduled Monday and Tuesday. However, please note that students and families who experience travel delays or have concerns following Sunday's snow may arrive outside of their scheduled time slot at any time between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday or Tuesday. Students who need to arrive outside of these hours of 8:30 to 5 during these two days may contact the Office of Residential Life at reslife@hartford.edu.

Gwen combines her love of music, technology, and libraries by working as the Electronic Resources Coordinator, also managing the serials collections, at the Harrison Libraries here at the University of Hartford; teaching early childhood music classes at the Community Music School in Centerbrook; and participating in and organizing community music, theatre, and puppet programs. She has also completed credits towards her MBA at the University of Hartford’s Barney School.

Gwen brings over 10 years of public (Acton Public Library in Old Saybrook), academic (Three Rivers Community College in Norwich), and special (Goodspeed’s Scherer Library of Musical Theatre in East Haddam) library experience to the Harrison Libraries. Prior to libraries Gwen spent over a decade in information technology developing reporting and analysis systems for Danaher Tool Group (Craftsman hand tool division) and Trinity College. 

A lifelong Nutmegger, Gwen is delighted to have started her musical journey here at University of Hartford’s Community Music School learning to play the recorder with Jane Bradley and friends!
