Javier Diaz grew up just fifteen minutes from campus in Windsor, Connecticut where he took an active role in community music and theatre groups both onstage and off. Early on, he found a passion for creating memorable, unique events and experiences.
He graduated from the University of Hartford in May of 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. His studies helped him build a foundation for leading and guiding teams both practically and interpersonally. During his time as a student at UHart, Javier got involved as a student leader and student employee in the Office of Student Engagement and Inclusion. Through these experiences he learned about Student Affairs as a profession and developed a heart for student employment and leadership development.
Now serving as the Assistant Director for Student Centers and Events, Javier strives to provide students with the tools to create successful programming for their organizations and support Campus Offices and Departments in creating an engaging, worthwhile opportunities for students to find community here at UHart.
