Alexandra "Zee" Onuf first fell in love with art history as an undergraduate student at the University of Chicago. She went on to earn her PhD in Northern Renaissance art history from Columbia University. Her research has carried her to Antwerp, Brussels, Amsterdam, London, and Munich. She has lectured and written widely on Northern Renaissance landscape prints, and her most recent research concentrates on early modern print publishing.
Currently she is working on a book entitled Local Terrains: The Small Landscape Prints in Early Modern Netherlands. Onuf teaches upper-level classes in Renaissance and Baroque art history and the history of prints, but her favorite class to teach is the survey of Western art.
