While teaching, I use a traditional piano method that emphasizes technique (hand and finger positioning), mastering of the notes (ability to read and play music), and, most importantly, teaching my students to feel and understand music and make the piano sound beautiful. I also educate them about music history, theory, styles, musical periods, forms, composers, and, especially, about the music they learn and play.
