Teaching Philosophy

My goal is to inspire a lifelong love for music while fostering a solid foundation of technical skills, musical knowledge, and expressive abilities in each of my students.

A strong technical foundation is essential for expressive playing. I emphasize that each student is unique, with individual learning styles, interests, and goals. Therefore, I prioritize understanding each student’s needs and tailor my teaching methods accordingly. I aim to build students' confidence and nurture their passion for music. I encourage open questions and the exploration of new techniques to advance their skills.

Performance is a vital aspect of musical education. I will provide students with opportunities to perform in recitals, as these experiences build confidence and stage presence.

By combining these principles, my students will not only gain the skills to become musicians but also become well-rounded individuals who appreciate the power of music.
