Teaching Philosophy
I strive to recognize and celebrate each student’s individuality, strengths, educational targets, and interests. My goal is to provide the essential skills and knowledge each student needs to find, express, and develop their musical voice at the piano. I also aspire to bring the joy of music to all my students, balancing it with discipline and critical thinking skills. In addition to solid technical training, I emphasize well-rounded studies to facilitate student growth, incorporating repertoire from different musical styles, and encouraging students to engage in performance opportunities, which motivate them and help to build personal and musical confidence.
