Teaching Focus
Dr. Snowdon’s teaching focus is related to the neurological curriculum. She teaches Neuroscience, Neuroscience Laboratory, Neuropathology, and Pediatrics. She believes in an active learning classroom environment to obtain an understanding of foundational concepts in order to be successful in clinical practice.
Professional Interests Focus
Dr. Snowdon maintains a clinical practice in addition to her faculty position at University of Hartford. She currently maintains a clinical practice in the CT Birth to Three Program for the American School for the Deaf. Her research interest includes postural control development in children with neurological impairment. My area of interest is in using equine therapy in my clinical practice. She is a member of the American Hippotherapy Association.
