With over 20 years in the sports industry, I have worked with agencies, universities, and non-profits. I am a self-motivated, purpose-driven project leader with extensive experience in:
- Event Planning and Execution: Planning and executing top-notch events.
- Marketing Campaigns: Creating and managing comprehensive marketing strategies.
- Communications: Developing outward-facing communications.
- Development and Fundraising: Leading fundraising initiatives.
- Operational Management: Overseeing pre- and post-event operations.
Key Achievements
- Charitable Events: Significantly involved in planning and managing events that have raised over $7 million for charities, including the Pat and Jim Calhoun Cardiology Center and the Neag Comprehensive Cancer Center at UConn Health Center.
- Event Growth: Contributed to the growth of a start-up charitable event from under 300 participants in its first year to over 1,000 in its fourth year.
- Marketing Plans: Developed and implemented highly effective marketing plans across radio, print, TV, social networking, and email campaigns.
- Evaluation Procedures: Instituted evaluation procedures to track the success of programs and events.
