Dr. Smith Kidkarndee (he/they) is an Associate Director at the Graduate Institute of Professional Psychology (GIPP) and serves as coordinator of Psy.D. practicum training (i.e., Pre-practicum, Practicum, and Externship) for GIPP students. They currently teach Psychological Assessment I and Pre-Practicum in Clinical Psychology. Prior to joining GIPP, Dr. Kidkarndee worked as a clinician and supervisor in college mental health settings and was the Director of Training for a practicum and post-doctoral program.
Dr. Kidkarndee is a licensed clinical psychologist in Connecticut and New York.
Interest Areas
Their clinical interests include AAPI Psychology, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Anxiety Disorders, OCD, and Disorders Related to OCD, Clinical Supervision/Training and Consultation, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy & Acceleration Resolution Therapy (ART), Interpersonal Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Psychology of Sexual Orientation and Gender Diversity, Professional Practice Issues, and Social Justice and Advocacy.
